As a fan of sci/fi fiction for about 40 years, the one thing that offends more than anything is the lack of originality! That is not the case here. This is one of the most original stories that I have read in a while, and I found myself getting caught up pretty quickly in the story and characters. Using known gods and monsters and real world events really created an interesting world that left me wanting more. This is a well thought out and carefully researched story that has a strong family vibe between the characters, making it easy to care for them. I was extremely impressed with the I honesty cannot wait to read more. This is a book that I would definitely recommend to any fan of fiction!
